Mr.Sivaraman, joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1962 and has held the positions of Revenue Secretary - Government of India and later Executive Director in the I.M.F. with the rank of Indian Ambassador to the U.S.A. He was also retained as expert Advisor with the committee on Counter Terrorism by the United Nation Security Council during the year 2001-2003.
During his illustrious career stretching almost four decades, he held the positions of Director General Civil Aviation of India, Joint Secretary & Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Commerce-Government of India, Secretary, Ministry of Finance of the state of Madhya Pradesh.
Mr.Sivaraman has published a number of papers on Taxation, Monetary & Fiscal issues, International Economics and Corporate Management. He has led several delegations to various countries, accompanying the Primeminister of India on many occasions.
After his retirement, he has been associated with several corporates at Board level and has been the chairman of NALTECH, an associate of the National Aerospace Laboratory of India.
Mr.Sivaraman holds a Masters from the University of Madras and is a fellow of the Aeronautical Society of India. |
